Your therapist will schedule a free 15 minute consultation call to confirm that they are a good fit. Once the consultation is completed you are able to schedule your intake session with your therapist. Your therapist will send you all the necessary paperwork to complete and sign before your scheduled appointment. Completing these forms in advance helps ensure a smooth start to your therapy session.
Our therapists are trained in various modalities including but not limited to EMDR, Play Therapy, CBT, and DBT. You will work with your therapist to develop an individualized treatment plan to meet your needs. We work with children ages 10 and up, teens, young adults, and adults. All sessions are held via telehealth.
Your first therapy session will be an intake session to help your therapist understand your background, presenting symptoms, and goals for therapy. Your therapist will ask questions about your mental and medical health history, relationships, and work. You will get a chance to share your goals for therapy. Your therapist will review confidentiality, practice policies, and expectations.
A Good Faith Estimate is a document that provides an upfront estimate of the cost for therapy services under the No Surprises Act. Healthcare providers are required to give uninsured or self-pay clients and estimated cost for services before they begin treatment.
What does the good faith estimate include?
-The expected cost of therapy sessions
- The frequency and duration of treatment (if known)
- Information about your rights under the No Surprises Act
- A disclaimer that actually costs me very depending on treatment needs.
This estimate helps clients make informed financial decisions about their care if your actual costs end up being significantly higher than the estimate you may have the right to dispute the charges .
